The guaranteed buyback scheme is the foundation of Alora. It’s designed to ensure the Alora Crib isn’t thrown away - but comes right back to us when you’re done with it.
Every part of every Crib then gets put through a comprehensive industrial process, designed with the environment in mind, to fully remanufacture it into a completely new product.
WOODEN FRAME AND LEGS
The sustainable wood frame and legs get fully disassembled, inspected, industrially sanded, refinished, re-drilled, and quality assessed before the remanufactured parts are sent back to the stockroom.
METAL FIXINGS
Safety-critical elements are always fully replaced, while other elements undergo human inspection followed by an ultrasonic process to return them to an entirely new state.
FABRICS
The material sections and inner lining get separated, mulched and recycled (for future use by Alora - watch this space!). All materials provided with the Alora Bedside Crib are 100% new.
LAST-RESORT RECYCLING
Some things - roughly 7% of the Alora Bedside Crib - just can’t be remanufactured right now. Those parts are designed from materials that we can recycle, meaning nothing goes to waste.

Limits are set and tested during remanufacturing to ensure everything is over-engineered for safety, and well beyond the the requirements of BS EN 1130.
